Green light for Amber Summer

Green light for Amber Summer

amber summerSonia Irvine, the driver behind Amber Lounge, Formula One’s biggest weekend bash, confirmed that, as of yesterday, Amber Summer is a go…

For the first time in its 14-year history, Monaco’s Grand Prix ultimate post-race party known as Amber Lounge will morph into ‘Amber Summer’ the week following race weekend. “I’ve been wanting to do this for a few years,” Sonia tells Monaco Life, “and all the pieces fell into place, so it was time. I’m very excited to be doing something new.”

Open daily from 17:00, Amber Summer will take over 350 square metres at the Meridian Beach Plaza serving an Asian-style night menu, a late night menu and, for revellers, breakfast from 05:00 to 07:00.

Unlike Amber Lounge and it’s wild nightlife, Amber Summer will be a place to relax, as Sonia explains: “You can come in your beachwear and have a casual drink, or bite to eat before heading out at midnight to the clubs, like Jimmyz, and then come back to Amber Summer for breakfast.”
