Local entertainment production company launches contest

magicMonaco-based Shibuya Productions and Shueisha, a Japanese book and video game publisher based in Japan, are launching a manga competition, in association with Shibuya International, ahead of the 2017 Monaco Anime Game International Conference.

The Jury of the final will choose a winner and a runner-up and both will have his or her work published in Shonen Jump and on its website. Shibuya Productions will also offer the winner a month’s stay in Japan (including a return economy ticket for one person; airport transport; and accommodation in Tokyo for one person). The winner will also meet a tanto (publisher) from Shonen Jump.
