Once again, the red carpet was unfurled for a string of famous TV personalities as the annual Monte-Carlo TV Festival unfolded. The opening ceremony starred, among others, Marg Helgenberger. Danny Glover was among the top male attractions for fans gathered outside the Grimaldi Forum, while Jane Seymour (65), who plays a doctor in a major TV series, stunned everybody present with her youthful good looks…
The event is now in its 56th year, having been inaugurated in 1961 by Prince Rainier, reportedly at the behest of Princess Grace who saw the festival as a way of enhancing Monaco’s image and bringing the Principality more up to speed in the modern world.

During his opening address, HSH Prince Albert expressed his condolences for the families of the victims of the mass shooting earlier on Sunday in Orlando, Florida. The Festival closes on Thursday.
