Monaco’s legendary Bal de Noël returns on 12th December for a very special 20th edition, celebrating two decades of festive glamour and generosity. Held under the High Patronage of Princess Charlene, the elegant evening will raise funds for her Foundation in the spirit of Christmas and solidarity.
The Bal de Noël, Monaco’s most enchanting winter gala, will mark its 20th anniversary in style this year, with an unforgettable celebration at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo. Guests will gather in the historic Salle Empire on Thursday 12th December for an evening that promises festive charm, refined elegance, and a shared commitment to giving back.
Under the High Patronage of Princess Charlene of Monaco, this year’s theme — 20th Anniversary — honours two decades of timeless glamour and heartfelt generosity. The event once again signals the start of Monaco’s Christmas season, offering an immersive experience of Monte-Carlo at its most magical.
A night of giving in support of the Princess Charlene Foundation
As in previous years, the highlight of the evening will be the charity auction, led by Sotheby’s, with all proceeds benefiting the Princess Charldne of Monaco Foundation. The Foundation’s mission to save lives through drowning prevention and to promote children’s education through sport will be at the heart of this anniversary edition.
Founder of the Bal de Noël, Sandrine Knoell, will be joined by distinguished members of the International Action Committee — all Monaco residents — including Princess Camilla de Bourbon des Deux-Siciles, Donatella Campioni, Lady Monika del Campo Bacardi of Bayfield Hall, Arne and Annette Fredly, Inna Maier, Ekaterini Lanara, Elena Lukovnikova, Francesca Marinelli Halpryn, Emanuela Nardini, Isabella Rosso, Gregory and Katarina Stassinopoulos, and Angelique Vizirgianakis.
A celebration of luxury and creativity
This year’s edition of Bal de Noël is supported by prestigious partners whose contributions elevate the gala’s distinctive flair. Italian perfume house Xerjoff, which is also celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, brings its signature blend of tradition and innovation to the event. Anna Hu High Jewelry will showcase a remarkable collection of giant butterfly brooches, adorned with rare and exquisite gems.
Guests will also enjoy exceptional wines from La Scolca — producers of Gavi’s celebrated Cortese wines — and SGC Wines, offering limited production Médoc vintages for collectors and connoisseurs. Narmino, the renowned Monaco florist and decorator, will create a bespoke Christmas ambiance worthy of the occasion.
