Ilios Restaurant and Beach Lounge is named after the God of Sun – Helios – to celebrate the best views of sunrise and sunset on the Mediterranean sea.
“I am people person. I love people coming to my restaurant and feeling like home and having a good experience with us. Everyone is welcome”, says Pascal Ramette, the founder of Ilios restaurant bar and beach lounge while receiving us. Coming from a professional tennis background and working with some of the top celebrity clients, Pascal developed a real passion for getting people together on quality places in New York, St Barts or St Tropez, before imagining to open Ilios in Monaco, in collaboration with the Meridien hotel manager Manuel de Vasconcelos.
The restaurant and lounge located in the heart of Monaco at the Meridien hotel is like no other place in the Principality, opened from midday to 7 am. A comfortable and sophisticated atmosphere was created by the talented designer Samy Chams, inviting people to enjoy their business lunch or a refreshing meal after sunbathing on the beach or the swimming pool, or a cozy family and friends time dinner.
Ilios offers a fresh and healthy cuisine from the excellent Chef Mattia Bonisolli, with a clear Mediterranean inspiration. Spectacular cocktails, special kid’s menu and comfort food are served after 12am, a live Djs and a shisha corner are as many option to enjoy the place while meditating on the incredible view of the sea and the most beautiful Monaco sunsets.
“The layout is really cool. You feel on holiday in the very heart of Monaco”, says Andrea Dini, Investor Media Business Development Manager who has invited VIP guests to Ilios opening party. More than 500 people came to enjoy this new venue in a very special atmosphere”. Andrea believes that Ilios is a place that Monaco was missing for a long time.
Ilios can be accessed by the main entrance of Le Méridien Beach Plaza hotel at 22 Avenue Princesse Grace but has also sea access thanks to the hotel’s facilities : a private pontoon and a shuttle boat service for yachts anchored in the Bay of Monaco can be booked on request to enjoy Mediterranean at it’s best.
