AS Monaco slumps to 3-0 defeat at Lyon

Monaco FC

AS Monaco lost for the fourth time in five games as Olympique Lyonnais hammered them 3-0 on Sunday to move into third place in Ligue 1.

The loss pushed Monaco back into the relegation zone in the league, with 13 points from 17 games. Manager Thierry Henry this week said that this season is a marathon for the team, not a sprint. He is expecting a turn-around in performance to take time.

Monaco has conceded more goals this season than any team in Europe’s top five leagues – 45 goals in all competitions.

Henry said, “I think we made life too easy for Lyon. On the goals, we are at fault. We made the match too easy. It’s a heavy, hard defeat. Above all, when we make too many mistakes, a team like Lyon, which has many qualities, will score goals.”

Henry is frustrated at not seeing desire on the pitch when he sees it in training.

Soon, the City Council will also implement the digitisation of tenders. These can be consulted following their publication in the Official Journal of Monaco from a dedicated platform still accessible via the website of the City Council. Interested companies will have the opportunity to download the consultation file.

For information, the digitisation of calls for tenders is a legal obligation in France since 1 October 2018. Although the Principality is not subject to this legislation, the Town Hall of Monaco, in view of its activities, wanted to match the rule.

The goal was to share ideas, experiences and good practices so that women could flourish and participate in the economic and political development of their countries.

Political, economic and associative leaders from all over the world discussed these themes during these two days and Bertani and Fresko-Rolfo were able to make known the evolution of women’s rights in the Principality of Monaco.

Katrin Jakobsdottir, Prime Minister of Iceland, reminded the audience that women’s rights can only evolve through education, family law, violence against women and girls, peace in the world and women’s associations.
