Organisers of the expo say they have placed technology at the heart of One to One because the e-commerce market is constantly evolving and an e-commerce event organiser has no choice but to do so.

Startups naturally have their place in this ecosystem, and in order to better support these young structures, the event multiplies networking operations to enable everyone to build and optimise their network.

The expo combines One to one meetings, plenary sessions and 170 expert workshops as well as moments of high-end networking.

The event will be held from 19thto 21stMarch.

Introducing ‘Snackonomy’ to Monte Carlo

This Spring, the newly inaugurated One Monte-Carlo will reveal a chic new snacking concept on the Promenade Princesse Charlène. Dreamed up by Michelin-starred chef Marcel Ravin, Mada One is a café, a bistro and a bakery all in one.

The unique concepts combines fresh local ingredients with a Caribbean twist

The name Mada was derived from ‘Madame’, in reference to the women of the area, and Madininia, which means Martinique in the Caribbean language.

Inspired by his Caribbean roots, Chef Ravin has developed a brand new style of cuisine for this chic dine-in/take-out spot, specially adapted for his Monegasque and international customers.

Chef Marcel Ravin helped create the fun concept

Everything from the logo to the aprons and tableware is consistent with Marcel Ravin’s philosophy and concept. “The idea is to offer customers high quality dishes they can order quickly to eat in or take away. We pushed the concept to the point where we serve diners on bento trays (meal trays served in business class), so everything has been designed to make life easier for our customers, whether it’s in terms of eating or travelling!”

Signature dishes include an innovative new cake called ‘Le Munegu’, a fusion of brioche and panettone redolent of Monaco and the Mediterranean. Meanwhile, a delicatessen will sell ‘souvenir’ items and ingredients used in the kitchen.

“We have even designed small containers for travelers to take on board in their cabin luggage,” says the Michelin-starred chef. Dine-in customers at Mada One can also enjoy healthy breakfasts, lunches, afternoon and pre-dinner snacks. “The time between 5.30pm and 8.30pm is important, and we’ve called it l’apéro-thérapie (aperitif-therapy). After gastronomy and bistronomy, explains Marcel Ravin, “it’s time to try snackonomy”.

Referred to as a “learning laboratory”, the Campus is located within the Monaco Digital headquarters. During its opening on Thursday 28thFebruary, Minister of State Serge Telle insisted on the importance of this “new tool”, saying it was essential to Monaco’s digital strategy.

“We will not be able to move forward … without having agents who are themselves invested in the innovation necessary to meet the challenges of tomorrow. ”

The training hub is a “fun” space of 250m2, and was created out of a partnership between the Monaco Government and Monaco Digital. It brings together coaches, facilitators, experts in human resources and digital professionals from around the world; “people who share the common values of being daring, open and sharing,” said the government in a statement.

The Campus is dedicated to the development and deepening of knowledge, and it houses training rooms, spaces for co-construction and innovation, coworking spaces, a digital showroom and a studio for creating educational content.

The site will be used to train state officials and administration staff by the end of the year. The aim, said the government, is to attract talents, keep them, develop them and allow everyone to flourish, especially through access to training and information for all.

“Monaco will not succeed in its digital transformation without integrating training with new digital tools, so the administration will become the most inclusive and the most horizontal in the world,” said Frédéric Genta, Interministerial Delegate for Digital Transition.

“The Campus will make it possible to work differently by promoting learning for all,” added Stephan Bruno, Director of Human Resources and Training in the Public Service. “The digital transition requires a profound transformation in terms of work organisation and managerial practices”.
