Over three days in October, the Principality will host the world’s sporting elite at Sportel Monaco. Alongside the industry talks and expert-led conferences, the event will offer fans an opportunity to meet their idols and watch on as the year’s most remarkable sporting moments are honoured at the prestigious Sportel Awards.
For more than three decades now, Sportel Monaco has been the premier gathering for sporting professionals from around the world, providing a unique platform where they explore the latest trends, form business partnerships and discover the innovations that are shaping the future of the industry.
As always, this year’s event, which will be held under the Honorary Presidency of Prince Albert II of Monaco at the Grimaldi Forum at the end of October, will unite the fans, the athletes and those behind the scenes with a diverse programme of talks, conferences and panel discussions on topics such as the role of sponsorship in generating revenue, the success of the Paris Olympics’ in terms of broadcasting and viewership, and generative AI and storytelling. The complete programme can be found here.
The event will culminate with the Sportel Awards, “an international competition that rewards the most outstanding sports footage of the year, during a ceremony open and free to the public”, say the organisers.
Prizes include the Golden Podium Awards, the Sport Book Prize, the Autobiography Prize and the Sportel Lifetime Sport Achievement Award.
To sweeten the pot, Olympians, international sport stars and championship athletes are on hand to present the winning trophies to the laureates, bringing a touch of glamour to the already exciting evening.
