Monaco’s newest business hub launches with prime port Hercule location

Monte-Carlo Business Center celebrated the official inauguration of its third location, MCBC III, on Thursday evening, welcoming around 50 professionals to the new premium workspace overlooking Port Hercule.

The new addition to Monaco’s business landscape occupies 250 square metres across two floors in Le Luciana, strategically positioned steps away from the Yacht Club de Monaco.

MCBC III’s maritime-inspired interior design creates an atmosphere reminiscent of stepping aboard a luxury yacht, while offering practical amenities including private offices, open-plan workspaces, and a fully equipped meeting room tailored to modern entrepreneurial needs.

The launch marks Monte-Carlo Business Center’s third location in just five years, following its 2020 debut near Metropole and its second centre opened in 2022 at Carré d’Or.

This latest expansion strengthens the company’s positioning within Monaco’s competitive business centre market, which currently hosts more than 25 similar operations across the Principality.

The team behind MCBC III

“With property prices at a premium in Monaco, business centres offer entrepreneurs a cost-effective alternative to private commercial rentals,” explained Julie Lorenzi, of the Communications department, during the event. “Beyond the address, they provide reception services, printing facilities, telecommunications infrastructure, and utilities—all included in a single fee.”

Networking opportunity

Thursday’s inauguration brought together representatives from Monaco’s diverse business landscape, including professionals from yachting, banking and real estate.

Attendees enjoyed refreshments provided by Dean & Deluca Monte-Carlo, the recently opened New York-born concept now located at the Metropole Shopping Monte-Carlo, while exploring the new facility and engaging in informal networking.

Board members of YPY Monaco (Young Professionals in Yachting) were among the notable guests.

“Business centres create communities where entrepreneurs can collaborate with professionals from both similar and diverse sectors, creating valuable networking opportunities and potential service exchanges,” said Lorenzi.

With this third address, Monte-Carlo Business Center continues its mission to provide functional, modern, and prestigious workspaces for entrepreneurs seeking a dynamic business environment in the heart of Monaco.

Chef Nobu Matsuhisa to host two culinary evenings at Nobu Monte Carlo

Nobu Monte Carlo will welcome its founder, chef Nobu Matsuhisa, for two special evenings on 28th and 29th May as part of a culinary programme at the Fairmont Monte Carlo.

The visit marks a rare appearance by the internationally recognised chef, who will be in Monaco to oversee and host two events at the restaurant bearing his name. Nobu, known for blending Japanese culinary traditions with Peruvian influences, has maintained a presence in the Principality for over a decade.

The first event, on Wednesday 28th May, will be held at the Nobu Lounge and features a cocktail-style dinner with live cooking stations, sushi, and a variety of dishes prepared in the presence of the chef. The evening begins at 7pm and includes Champagne Perrier-Jouët. Tickets are priced at €120 per person.

On Thursday 29th May, the second evening will feature a six-course Omakase menu, a format that allows the chef to curate a tasting experience based on seasonal ingredients and Nobu’s signature style. Guests will have the option to pair the menu with a Champagne selection. The dinner is available from 6:30pm to 11pm, priced at €150 per person, or €195 with Champagne pairing.

Both events will take place at the Nobu Monte Carlo, which reopened in 2024 following renovations at the Fairmont Monte Carlo.

DJ Mosimann to headline Monaco’s Fête de la Musique with free open-air concert

Internationally acclaimed DJ Mosimann will take centre stage on the Quai Albert Ier this 21st June for a high-energy, open-air concert to celebrate Monaco’s Fête de la Musique.

The Mairie de Monaco has announced that Mosimann, the renowned Franco-Swiss DJ and producer, will headline this year’s Fête de la Musique, offering a free, open-to-all concert on Friday 21st June at 9:30pm. Kicking off the evening at 8:30pm will be local talent DJ Greenhigh, setting the stage for what promises to be a landmark night on the Principality’s cultural calendar.

The performance will transform the Quai Albert Ier into a vibrant outdoor stage, welcoming residents and visitors for a celebration of sound under the stars.

“This year, we chose a DJ to bring a modern and dynamic edge to the event, with the aim of reaching a broader audience,” said Mayor Georges Marsan. “It’s an opportunity to experience something fresh and energising in the heart of Monaco.”

Mosimann, known for his explosive performances and genre-crossing style, is widely regarded as one of the most versatile DJ-producers of his generation. Self-taught and multi-talented, he blends electronic music with live instruments—mixing, drumming, singing, and playing keyboards in real time for a complete audiovisual experience.

A veteran of the global dance music scene, Mosimann boasts over a decade of international success, including six consecutive years in DJ Mag’s Top 100 and a consistent ranking among the top five French DJs worldwide. His sonic influences span from Jean-Michel Jarre to Daft Punk, fusing French Touch roots with a global electronic identity.

The artist’s motto, Change Your Mind, reflects his mission to reinvent the DJ set as a full-scale live show. His performances move fluidly between underground house and chart-topping hits, with tracks like Dancing on My Own.

Monaco opens international call for artists to join creative residency at Quai Antoine Ier

Monaco is once again opening its doors to the global art scene, inviting artists from around the world to apply for its prestigious international residency at Quai Antoine Ier.

The Direction des Affaires Culturelles de Monaco has launched an open call for candidates to take up one of four artist studios at the Résidence Internationale d’Artistes, located in the heart of the Principality on the iconic Quai Antoine Ier. The residency is open to both international and local artists, and provides space to bring ambitious projects to life over a period of one to six consecutive months, with the possibility of a one-time renewal.

More than just a studio, the programme offers an immersive cultural experience. Artists are encouraged to propose projects that either have an international scope or are developed in collaboration with a Monegasque cultural institution—ensuring that the creative exchange flows both ways.

“The aim is to foster innovative artistic work while strengthening Monaco’s cultural ties with the world,” says the Direction des Affaires Culturelles.

Applications must be submitted by 6pm on Tuesday 17th June 2025. This is a unique opportunity to create in one of the most beautiful and culturally rich environments on the Mediterranean coast.
