Billy Idol to ignite Monaco Red Cross Gala in a night of rock, glamour and princely prestige

On Saturday 12th July, the renowned Salle des Étoiles at Sporting Monte‑Carlo will host the 76th Monaco Red Cross Gala. With Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene in attendance, the evening promises star‑studded glamour, culminating in a rare concert by British rock icon Billy Idol.

The gala, presided over by H.S.H. Prince Albert II and H.S.H. Princess Charlène, remains a flagship charity event on Monaco’s summer calendar. This tradition, dating back to the society’s foundation in 1948, honours donors whose support sustains vital humanitarian missions locally and internationally.

Guests will gather under the starlit canopy of the Salle des Étoiles for a gala dinner, proceeds from a luxury tombola and an electrifying concert finale.

Rock royalty takes centre stage

For the first time, the legendary Billy Idol will perform at the gala, bringing four decades of punk‑rock energy to Monaco. The icon’s stage presence—from his Generation X origins to his New York street‑punk phase—will electrify the Salle des Étoiles on 12th July.

Art meets culinary flair and sparkling tradition

Emblematic artist Bernar Venet will add an artistic dimension to this year’s gala by donating his work Generative Angles Painting ‑ Red 11 to the Monaco Red Cross.

The evening kicks off at 8pm with a gala dinner crafted by Chef Thierry Saez Manzanares alongside the Monte‑Carlo SBM kitchen and sommelier teams.

Guests will then participate in a lavish tombola—hosted by prima ballerina Aurélie Dupont and journalist Harry Roselmack—before the fireworks display over the Mediterranean sets the stage for the headline act. Dress code is black‑tie, and tickets are priced at €1,900 (excluding drinks).
