Nikki Beach Monte Carlo to host vibrant Tequila Day celebration with Chef Beatriz Gonzalez

Nikki Beach Monte Carlo will be turning up the heat on Saturday 26th July as it celebrates Tequila Day in bold, flavour-packed fashion. In collaboration with the acclaimed Chef Beatriz Gonzalez and Patrón Tequila, the event promises a lively tribute to Mexican cuisine and culture, centred around ceviche, tequila and the sun-soaked energy of Monaco.

Born on the island of Cozumel and raised in her family’s restaurants, Chef Beatriz Gonzalez brings a rich culinary heritage to this unique celebration. Now a seasoned figure in French gastronomy, with experience in Michelin-starred kitchens and a diploma from the renowned Institut Paul Bocuse, she returns to her Mexican roots for this exclusive event in Monaco.

Alongside Nikki Beach’s Chef Thomas Roux and the house team, Gonzalez will present a ceviche live cooking performance featuring amberjack marinated with citrus, avocado, and a vibrant leche de tigre infused with carrot and ginger. The culinary experience will be paired with an exclusive Patrón Tequila creation, developed by Nikki Beach’s mixologists to echo the bold, refreshing notes of the ceviche.

A festive atmosphere with a Riviera twist

The day will unfold to the backdrop of a sun-drenched DJ set and live performances, as guests enjoy the relaxed elegance that Nikki Beach Monte Carlo is known for. Overlooking the Mediterranean from the terrace of the Fairmont Monte Carlo, the beach club will blend Latin energy with Riviera chic in what promises to be one of the summer’s standout events.

“It’s a real joy to share the cuisine of my childhood in such an exceptional setting,” said Beatriz Gonzalez. “Ceviche is one of my signature dishes – perfect for a fresh summer lunch, with just a splash of tequila to awaken the palate.”

AS Monaco to host Inter Milan in high-stakes friendly ahead of Ligue 1 season

AS Monaco will face European giants Inter Milan at the Stade Louis II on Friday 8th August, in what promises to be a thrilling final pre-season test just one week before the start of the Ligue 1 season. Kick-off is scheduled for 8pm, and entry is free for “General Public” season ticket holders while places remain.

The game offers Monaco a chance to measure their readiness against elite competition, and it carries a sense of unfinished business. The two sides last met during the 2024/25 Champions League group stage, when Inter defeated a 10-man Monaco 3-0 at the San Siro following an early red card. This return fixture gives Adi Hütter’s side the opportunity to gauge their level against last season’s Champions League runners-up, who ultimately fell to Paris Saint-Germain in the final.

Strong signs from pre-season preparations

Monaco’s pre-season campaign has so far revealed a team on the rise. A dominant 5-0 win against Coventry City, powered by a stylish hat-trick from Maghnes Akliouche, followed by a solid draw against Nottingham Forest, showcased their growing cohesion. Speaking after the team’s England camp, head coach Adi Hütter said: “I am really happy with the end of this week, we managed to transfer our training work to the field.”

Final chance to impress before Ligue 1 opener

The friendly against Inter Milan will be the last opportunity for fans to witness Monaco’s progress and tactical fine-tuning before the club opens its Ligue 1 campaign at home to Le Havre on Saturday 16th August. It will also cap off a rigorous pre-season schedule that includes matches against Cercle Bruges, Arminia Bielefeld, Ajax Amsterdam and a double-header against Torino FC behind closed doors.

The seasonal attraction, which opened on Saturday 19th July, operates everyday from 4pm to 10:30pm, offering a diverse programme of activities to appeal to visitors of all ages.

Activities include go-karting circuits suitable for both children and adults, basketball courts, a traditional carousel, duck fishing games, ninja boxes, and trampolines. Food stalls are also present in the summer village serving refreshments throughout the day, opening from 11:30am.

Among the notable additions for 2025 is the ‘canoë river’ attraction, alongside temporary tattoo stands and a chalet housing theatrical workshops. The workshops, created in partnership with the Grimaldi Forum, tie into the current ‘Colours!’ exhibition.

AS Monaco village returns

For the second consecutive year, AS Monaco football club has established its own dedicated area within the summer village on Quai Albert 1er. The village offers free access to football-themed activities that have proven popular with families.

It features a mini football pitch for tournaments, a football table, giant target games, and quiz competitions.

Club representatives are also set to make appearances throughout the summer to meet supporters. Meanwhile, special events are also planned including professional-style training sessions with Academy players, juggling competitions, and weekly e-sports tournaments on FC 25 every Sunday.

A temporary shop within the village will sell the club’s new 2025-2026 kit, revealed in partnership with Mizuno.

The AS Monaco village also supports local charity work through a school supplies collection running until 22nd August. Items including notebooks, pens, glue, and rulers are being collected for ‘Les Enfants de Frankie’ charity, which will offer them to families facing financial difficulties ahead of the new school year.

Fireworks and Entertainment

During the summer village, two major fireworks displays are scheduled. The first display is on Saturday 26th July at 10:30pm, followed by DJ entertainment, while the second display is on Friday 9th August at 10pm right before a pop-rock concert.

Monte-Carlo Polo Team brings elegance and adrenaline to Saint-Tropez

A new chapter of sport, glamour, and sophistication is unfolding this summer as the Monte-Carlo Polo Team hosts an exclusive match and private dinner in Saint-Tropez, redefining polo for a new generation of luxury lifestyle seekers.

On 31st July, the sun-soaked fields of the Saint-Tropez Polo Club will set the stage for a unique sporting and social affair, as the Monte-Carlo Polo Team rides into town for a one-of-a-kind match against the Saint-Tropez Polo Team.

The event, which begins with an aperitivo and DJ set at 5:30pm, will culminate in a private dinner at Crazy Pizza Saint-Tropez, blending athletic excellence with Mediterranean flair.

Founded in 2012 by Rommy Gianni, the Monte-Carlo Polo Team is more than a competitive squad – it’s Monaco’s stylish polo ambassador on the international circuit. Gianni, alongside a trio of elite professionals, has built a team that fuses elegance and sporting prestige, taking part in world-class tournaments and philanthropic matches across the globe.

Their mission is simple but ambitious: to reinvent the polo experience, elevating it into a lifestyle rooted in glamour, exclusivity, and global reach.

The Monte-Carlo Polo Team

This summer’s Saint-Tropez event is part of a growing Polo Xperience Tour, with future matches set for elite destinations including the Hamptons, Dubai, Miami, Madrid and, naturally, Monaco. It is designed to offer more than just sport – each event creates a curated encounter where luxury hospitality, world-class polo, and vibrant entertainment meet.

As noted in the event schedule, guests can choose from two ticketing tiers: a match and aperitivo experience at €150 or a full game-day and private dinner package for €275, with numbers capped at 100 for the evening portion.

For those wishing to arrive in true Riviera fashion, air transfers to the Saint-Tropez polo field are available, with one-way journeys priced at €415 and round trips at €810 per person, further enhancing the bespoke nature of the occasion.

Grimaldi Forum deepens commitment to inclusion with vibrant visit for AMAPEI group

As part of its ongoing ‘Culture and Inclusion’ initiative, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco welcomed a group of people with disabilities on Monday 21st July for a specially curated visit of its major summer exhibition, Colours! Masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou. The experience was made possible through its partnership with CMB Monaco and in collaboration with the Association Monégasque pour l’Aide et la Protection de l’Enfance Inadaptée (AMAPEI).

The visit offered an immersive and interactive tour for around 15 participants, designed to encourage self-expression through visual and physical exploration. In addition to viewing iconic artworks from one of France’s most important collections, visitors were invited to explore their personal reactions to colour through body movement and guided emotion-based exercises.

“What does this colour make you feel?” was one of the questions posed – and the answers were expressed not in words, but in gestures and dance-like movements that made the experience both memorable and meaningful.

Building bridges through culture

This inclusive visit is the latest chapter in a growing programme launched in 2023 that aims to make the arts more accessible to all. During last year’s Monet in Full Light exhibition, the Grimaldi Forum hosted children from Les Enfants de Frankie.

In 2024, during Turner’s Sublime Legacy, children, teenagers, and young adults with autism from Monaco Disease Power took part in a similar initiative – a group from the same association is due to return on 23rd July for another visit.

A space where everyone belongs

Accessibility is at the heart of the current exhibition. Colours! is open to all, with the Grimaldi Forum offering specially adapted ticketing for people with disabilities. A total of €14 covers entry for both the visitor and their accompanying person, reinforcing the venue’s commitment to reducing cultural barriers.

By continuing to welcome diverse audiences and crafting experiences tailored to different needs, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco is reinforcing its role as not just a cultural hub, but a space for connection, creativity, and inclusivity.

Monaco marks diplomatic milestone and Prince’s 20-year reign in Rome

A celebratory reception in Rome on 10th July brought together dignitaries from across Italy and Monaco to honour two major anniversaries: 150 years of Monaco’s diplomatic presence in Italy and the 20th anniversary of Prince Albert II’s accession to the throne. Held at the Monegasque Embassy, the evening blended ceremony, culture, and a shared commitment to future cooperation.

The event attracted nearly 300 guests, including high-level Italian officials, military representatives, parliamentarians, and ambassadors. Several mayors from the Grimaldi Historic Sites network in Italy also travelled to the capital for the occasion, reinforcing the depth of the centuries-old ties. Representing the Prince’s Government was Christophe Robino, Minister of Social Affairs and Health.

The Prince’s legacy in focus

Anne Eastwood, Monaco’s Ambassador to Italy, opened the ceremony by reading a personal message from Prince Albert II. He recalled the creation of Monaco’s legation in Rome under Prince Charles III in 1875, describing it as a “testament to his commitment to diplomacy, especially with Italy”. The Prince praised his ancestor’s vision of diplomacy as a role requiring “zeal, dignity and impeccable manners”, values he said are still reflected in today’s embassy.

Shared goals for the future

Speaking on behalf of the Government, Christophe Robino described the bilateral relationship as “faithful, constant and confident”, highlighting ongoing collaboration in health. Ambassador Eastwood pointed to May’s joint commission meeting in Monaco as a sign of strong political will on both sides. She said it “demonstrated a shared desire to strengthen cooperation in many fields”, including culture, the environment, and scientific research.

A night of music and symbolism

The Prince’s Carabinieri Jazz Trio gave a standout performance, offering a rare a cappella rendition of Monaco’s national anthem – a first outside the Principality. Vocalist Mandy Ayache later joined the musicians, setting a refined yet relaxed tone for the evening. Guests left with commemorative gifts, including Monegasque specialities such as the iconic fougasse.
