From Friday 15th to Sunday 17th August, Nikki Beach Monte Carlo will embrace the colours, sounds, and tastes of Italy for a three-day Ferragosto celebration unlike anything else in the Principality this weekend. An Italian Summer Affair will combine live music, seasonal Mediterranean flavours, and the kind of leisurely afternoons that Ferragosto was made for.
Ferragosto, celebrated across Italy on 15th August, traces its origins to Feriae Augusti, the festival introduced by Emperor Augustus over two millennia ago. Today, it is a much-loved midsummer tradition devoted to leisure, indulgence, and connection — and this year, it serves as the inspiration for Nikki Beach’s weekend-long programme.
From 11am to 8pm each day, the celebrations will unfold with a blend of live music and Mediterranean atmosphere. On Friday and Saturday, a live violinist will perform against the backdrop of the sea, adding a rich, melodic layer to the sunlit terrace. Saturday will see the festivities reach their high point, with violin and saxophone in harmony alongside a guest DJ set from Ambre Ballester, creating a soundscape that moves effortlessly from afternoon relaxation to early evening energy.
Sunday will draw the weekend to a close with the warm, fluid rhythms of a live saxophone performance — a final invitation to slow the pace and enjoy the lingering summer air.
The Ferragosto celebration will also feature an Italian-influenced menu, golden-hour aperitivos, and Nikki Beach’s signature cocktails. With panoramic views across the Mediterranean, the rooftop venue offers an atmosphere where guests can savour both the music and the setting in equal measure.
