Annabelle Jaeger-Seydoux took over as director of MonacoTech, the Principality’s startup incubator, on 1st September. She succeeds Chloé Boscagli, who has been appointed adviser to the Private Cabinet of the Sovereign Prince.

A graduate in political science from Paris I-Sorbonne, Jaeger-Seydoux has spent two decades working across the private, non-profit, and public sectors, with a 25-year focus on sustainable development. Her career includes presiding over the French committee of the Prince Albert II Foundation and directing the Mission for Energy Transition within the Princely Government for six years.

Incubator track record 

Established in 2017 by the Princely Government, Monaco Telecom, and Xavier Niel, MonacoTech has supported 68 projects over nine years. More than 30 of these have incorporated as companies in Monaco, generating approximately 150 jobs and over 50 registered industrial property titles within the territory.

The incubator currently supports 25 startups through a development programme focused on three strategic verticals: applied AI, climate and blue tech, and health and sport tech. Recent structural initiatives include ‘Test in Monaco’, which enables selected startups to trial solutions in real-world conditions with local public and private stakeholders, and the ‘MonacoTech Mentors’ Guild’, a mentorship programme comprising around 30 international business leaders.
