AS Monaco’s N2 volleyball teams delivered a dominant home performance, securing back-to-back 3-0 victories as they push for higher division success.
Monaco Life attended the N2 women’s volleyball team’s return to competition on Saturday 22nd February at the Gymnase des Moneghetti, where they secured a decisive 3-0 victory against Cagnes-sur-Mer. It was a confident performance from the team, marking a strong restart to their season.
The evening’s action didn’t end there. Following the women’s triumph, Monaco’s N2 men’s team took to the court, facing Mérignac in the later fixture. They delivered an equally commanding 3-0 win, capping off a successful double match for the club.
AS Monaco Volleyball competes in the Nationale 2 (N2), the fourth tier of French volleyball, organised by the Fédération Française de Volley-Ball (FFVB). The club has a long history in the sport, with the men’s team previously reaching Ligue B, while the women’s squad recently claimed an undefeated season in N2. Both teams remain competitive, aiming for promotion to higher divisions.
With these victories, the women’s team now prepares for upcoming matches in Bordeaux, while the men’s squad will next compete at home against Le Pontet on Saturday, 15th March.
