Celebrate the magic of Christmas with Monaco’s shopkeepers

Monaco’s retail districts are set to transform into festive wonderlands this December, as the Union des Commerçants et Artisans de Monaco (UCAM), with support from the Princely Government, launches a month-long programme of Christmas-themed events and entertainment.

From Saturday 6th December to Saturday 3rd January, the streets of La Condamine, the Boulevard des Moulins, the Larvotto complex and Monte-Carlo’s shopping avenues will come alive with free seasonal animations designed to bring holiday cheer to residents, families and visitors of all ages.

A festive atmosphere across Monaco’s retail districts

This year, the spirit of Christmas will radiate from every corner of Monaco’s bustling shopping areas. Gospel choirs will fill the air with timeless carols, while Santa Claus, accompanied by his elves and a host of enchanting characters, will stroll through the streets, spreading smiles and holiday magic.

Dedicated children’s zones in Larvotto and Boulevard des Moulins

Young visitors will be especially delighted by two festive hubs created just for them. At Larvotto, a Christmas chalet will host creative workshops for children and photo sessions with Santa. A special mailbox will allow little ones to post their wish lists directly to the North Pole. The area will also feature a flying-chair carousel, a trampoline, and a sweets kiosk to extend the fun and indulgence.

Meanwhile, over on the Boulevard des Moulins, another Christmas chalet will offer similar delights: festive workshops, a magical meeting with Santa, and a mailbox for holiday letters.

Bringing community spirit to Monaco’s Christmas season

The initiative is part of a wider effort to encourage community engagement and promote Monaco’s local businesses during the holidays. With its cheerful programme of events, the campaign aims to transform the Principality’s commercial quarters into destinations of joy, warmth and family spirit throughout the festive period.
