An Audi R8 V10 of the Argentinian five-time winner of football’s Ballon d’Or, Lionel Messi, will be auctioned by the Monte-Carlo Auction House on Saturday, July 1.
This will be the third occasion that the auction house will be selling automobiles, motorbikes and boats under the hammer in Monaco.
The president of the Classic Car Club in Nice, Tom Brault, has unveiled the first pieces of an ambitious catalogue.
Among the lots, apart from the Audi R8 V10 of the Argentine striker and Barcelona forward Lionel Messi, estimated at between €200,000 and €240,000, a very rare Porsche and a competition motorcycle of Christian Estrosi – the mayor of Nice and a former professional motorcycling competitor – will also be sold on July 1 in front of the Yacht Club, alongside many others.
