Classical concerts continue at Prince’s Palace with Wagner and Beethoven

Summertime classical concerts in the Courtyard of Honour of the Prince’s Palace continue with the Monaco Symphony Orchestra performing operatic works by Richard Wagner and Ludwig van Beethoven on Sunday, August 5.

The orchestra will be conducted by Marek Janowski with Irene Theorin, soprano. The concert commences at 21:30, and ticket prices start at just 20 euros.

The idea of the concerts first arose in 1959, reviving an age-old tradition of the Grimaldi as protectors of the Arts, and music in particular.

The dress code is smart (jacket and tie).
