Monaco’s Criminal Court will announce a verdict on March 14 in a complex case of alleged corruption. The head of a department in the Urban Planning department of Monaco has been accused of favouring a contractor for work in the Principality in exchange for low-cost work on his own house under construction in Sainte-Agnès, a commune situated between Menton and Peille.
The public procurement process involved the head of the section in the public works office and a representative of the electrical company STAG, which specialises in automatic garbage collection systems, the court was told last week.
