Czarina welcomes Loreedubois jewellery pop-up

Taking exclusivity to a whole new level, One Monte-Carlo boutique Czarina is hosting the latest collections from luxury brand Loreedubois for a very limited time period.

Founded in 1992 by Frédéric Béziat, Loreedubois, meaning ‘golden wood’ in English, is a French jewellery maison renowned for its elegance and bespoke designs.

The brand’s creator draws inspiration for his beautiful pieces from his family lineage, which he traces back to the Clarency family of Marseille in the 19th century. Jewellery-making is an art that has been passed down through the generations; Béziat’s forebears were famed goldsmiths.

Prestige goes hand-in-hand with privacy at Loreedubois.

“I am a private designer and keep my client database anonymous as well as my exhibitions private. I do not advertise my creations or have social media,” Béziat tells Monaco Life

It thus makes sense that this ephemeral pop-up is only in Monaco for a very short time.

The Loreedubois collections are currently on display at the art de vivre Czarina boutique, which is found in One Monte-Carlo in the Place du Casino. Its neighbours include the likes of Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Celine.

“We are thrilled to bring Loreedubois’ visionary jewellery to Czarina, offering our clientele a unique glimpse into the craft of luxury jewellery-making,” says a spokesperson for Czarina. “Each piece tells a story of elegance and sophistication that resonates with the discerning tastes of our customers.”

Each piece of Loreedubois-signed jewellery is crafted in close cooperation with the brand’s clientele.

“I work with all types of stones, I always start with no limit, from semi-precious to precious to different materials such as wood,” Béziat tells Monaco Life. “Wood is actually my favourite material because it’s poor, so I wanted to mix poor material with very rich material, such as diamonds, giving a personality to the piece.”

This is Béziat’s second time exhibiting in the Principality, with this visit coming 10 years after his first showcase in Monaco.

But fans and newcomers to the brand will have to be quick if they want to explore Béziat’s latest pieces as the pop-up is only in town from 13th to 17th May.
