Danziger fundraiser at 39

danzingerallblacksA fundraising evening will take place on Monday, June 26, to help collect money to publish the next book of Monaco resident and acclaimed photojournalist Nick Danziger.

Mr Danziger “dedicates his life to documenting the social and political issues that define our times” and “Another Life: How we are failing the world’s poor” is part of Mr Danziger’s Millennium Development Goals 15-year project. The aim is to gather €17,000 for publishing costs. No administration costs will be deducted from cash raised on the evening.

Cash bar follows a welcome drink at 7 pm at club Thirty Nine (39 ave Princesse Grace), and at 8:30 pm, eight of Mr Dazinger’s photos of the All Blacks Rugby Team – a selection of pictures taken behind the scenes by the first and only time a photographer has been deep inside the sacred space of the All Black camp –and other prints will be auctioned, plus a photography workshop and a photo shoot with the celebrated photographer and author himself. Call-in bids will also be accepted.

The event runs until 10 pm and entry is free for Thirty Nine members or €30 per person, with tickets and pledges on Weezevent or at the door. Copies of the book can also be purchased at the same link.

Mr Danziger is the recipient of many awards including an Honorary Fellowship by the Royal Photographic Society, the Royal Geographic Society’s Ness award and a World Press Photo 1st Prize in the Single Portrait category.
