To implement an initiative aimed at defining the main lines of Monaco’s digital health policy, a mission to support the definition of a strategy for the development of e-health in Monaco has been entrusted to the company Ylios.
Following a series of interviews with health professionals, health institutions, beneficiaries of the health system, and economic actors in the Principality, the Department of Social Affairs and Health and Frédéric Genta, the Government official responsible for digital transition, held a seminar on June 26 with all those involved.
Ylios representatives first shed light on the notion of e-health and its issues before launching a debate in view of the joint construction of a global roadmap for e-health strategy in Monaco and to target the first initiatives to be carried out in the short and medium term.
These constructive exchanges revealed a common will of both the Government and the participants to act quickly. The Minister said: “We must move quickly and resolutely forward and place the patient at the heart of our thinking.”
