First seen in 1893, Lakmé by Léo Delibes is the tale of tensions that arise when a Brahim’s daughter and a British officer fall in love in turn of the century India.  With Sabine Devieilhe, Fleur Barron, Erminie Blondel, Charlotte Bonnet, Cyrille Dubois, Lionel Lhote, Pierre Doyen, Svetlana Lifar, the Chorus of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo and the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Laurent Campellone.
