The Monaco Optimist Team Race, hosted by the Yacht Club de Monaco, is a premier sailing event for budding sailors under the age of 14. Featuring 16 teams of four, this world-renowned competition adopts a match race format inspired by the America's Cup and has become a global benchmark for young international racers.

This event will critically explore the interplay of information, communication and technology by examining the impact of socio-political factors on public information access, addressing challenges in media integrity in the era of mega-corporations and social media.
