Monaco is to host the first round of the 2024 FIA World Rally Championship season with the 92nd Monte-Carlo Rally and a largely new route that will cover the hinterland of the Alpes-Maritimes, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Hautes-Alpes, Drôme and Isère. Gianluca Capuano will conduct Davide Livermore’s production of Giulio Cesare in Egitto, the Georg Friedrich Handel masterpiece from 1724. A gala performance will be held on Wednesday 24th at 7pm followed by performances on Friday 26th at 7pm, Sunday 28th at 3pm and Tuesday 30th January at 7pm.
