Medea, the sorceress of Colchis, falls passionately in love with Prince Jason, betraying her family and country to help him obtain the Golden Fleece. After years together and bearing him children, Jason abandons her for a younger woman, leaving Medea devastated and betrayed.

The Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by James Gaffigan and featuring pianist Alexandre Kantorow, will perform a symphonic concert in the Cour d'Honneur of the Prince's Palace, showcasing works by César Franck, Franz Liszt, and George Gershwin.
