Spend a soulful evening with Portuguese fado singer Mariza as she tells beautifully haunting tales of life of the downtrodden and love lost.  

MoodSwing, the 1994 album by the Joshua Redman's first quartet, is a musical feast created by four musicians, namely Joshua Redman on saxophone, Brad Mehldau on piano, Christian McBride on bass, and Brian Blade on drums, who went on to leave their mark on the music scene. 

Renowned Polish-Austrian pianist Elisabeth Leonskaja performs a selection of pieces by Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert in this evening concert at the Salle Garnier. Her career spans an incredible 70 years, having first started at the age of seven at music school. This living legend plays one night only in Monaco. Don’t miss it! 

Hector Berlioz’s The Damnation of Faust is coming to the stage with Aude Extrémo, Pene Pati, Nicolas Courjal, Frédéric Caton, the Chorus of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, the Rainier III Academy of Music Children’s Choir and the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra. The event will be conducted by Kazuki Yamada. 

As part of the Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival, a screening of Let’s Get Lost, the 1988 film by Bruce Weber documenting the turbulent life and career of jazz great Chet Baker, will be shown at the Salle Garnier.
