Monte-Carlo Market 7 Avenue Saint-Charles

It’s prime truffle and chestnut season in the region, and the Marché de Monte-Carlo is celebrating both of these winter favourites with a special market in early February. Beginning in 1350, Giovanni Boccaccio, known as Boccaccio, becomes entwinned in the life of Dante Alighieri. He meets a number of people who knew Dante or who witnessed his death, and retraces in a series of flashbacks the life of the great poet.
