400m hurdle record-holder and reigning Olympic champion Karsten Warholm has confirmed his presence at next month’s Herculis Meeting in Monaco, where history could be made.
Warholm will be the overwhelming favourite in the 400m hurdles next month, after confirming his presence at the Herculis Meeting at the Stade Louis II on 21st July. The Norwegian athlete made an explosive return to competition last Thursday, recording the second-best time of his career (46.52 seconds), and the fourth-quickest time in history.

This world record holder set the Herculis Meeting record (47.08 seconds) back in 2021, and given the form he has displayed at the beginning of the summer season, he will be backed to set a new one when he races against Warholm.
The Frenchman finished second in Munich last year, behind Warholm, and is constantly improving, registering a 48.13-second time in Oslo last week.
With both athletes pushing each other, there is a good chance of witnessing history in the 400m hurdles at the Stade Louis II next month. Tickets start from just €15.
