The theme of this year’s Concours International de Bouquets, which was held at the Yacht Club de Monaco over the weekend, was ‘Seas and Oceans’. More than 70 people entered the competition, including a dozen talented young florists aged between six and 14. Here are the 2024 winners.
In the presence of Prince Albert II and Princess Caroline of Hanover, the Honorary President of the annual event, the Garden Club of Monaco announced the winners of this year’s competition on Saturday 4th May.
Category 1: Vintage Sailboats
Won by Maryse Gras and Véronique Galvan of MG Fleurs et Créations, France
Category 2: Coral Reefs
Won by Lara Biancheri of Le Ragazze du Descu, Italie
Category 3: Fishing Nets
Won by Claudia Sigismondi of Le Ragazze du Descu, Italie
Category 4: Storms at Sea
Won by Cinzia Ceria of Santa Margherita, Italie
Category 5: Ice Packs and Icebergs
Won by Giuseppina Granero of Le Ragazze du Descu, Italie
Category 6: Lunch On Board
Won by Federico Silvestri of Alassio, Italy
Category 7a: The Beach (for six to nine-year-olds)
Won by Chiara Martin of Monaco
Category 7b: The Beach (for 10 to 14-year-olds)
Won by Clémence Schmitt of Monaco
