In celebration of World Environment Day next month, the Mairie de Monaco has announced a creative event that will blend art with environmental awareness: a mural painting marathon.
The event, which will be held at the A Fàbrica workshop in Monaco’s Parc Princesse Antoinette, will coincide with World Environment Day on Wednesday 5th June.
Five topics have been chosen for the five murals, each representing a specific environmental issue. From climate to composting, the circular economy, the oceans and the water cycle, participants aged 10 and up will be invited to add their artistic touch to the canvases, drawing on inspiration from the world around them and the interactive and educational workshops that will be run alongside the painting sessions.
Spaces are limited so the Mairie de Monaco is asking interested parties to get in touch ahead of time to reserve a spot. Contact environnement@mairie.mc for more information.
