Monte-Carlo Television Festival free access Fan Zone: everything you need to know

Ahead of the launch of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival in just two weeks’ time, the event’s organisers have announced the roll call of stars who will be making an appearance in the free access Fan Zone.

From Saturday 15th through to Tuesday 18th June, fans will be able to get up-close and personal with their favourite stars of the small screen.

During these four days, the Esplanade at the Grimaldi Forum will be transformed into a Fan Zone, which is entirely free and open to the public. There will be a designated space for meeting the actors in attendance, where fans will be able to take selfies with their idols and get autographs, as well as a variety of activities, from table tennis to that classic Mediterranean pastime of pétanque.

The Fan Zone will be open from 9am until 6pm on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday. On Tuesday, the Fan Zone will be closing a little earlier at 3pm.

Among the names and TV personalities expected in the Fan Zone are the cast of The Parisian Agency and actors from Chicago MED, FBI New York and Law & Order.

“Fans are an essential part of the Festival,” say the organisers, “everything is done to make them feel comfortable during this week of festivities.”

Inside the venue, a number of conferences and behind the scenes experiences will allow fans to learn more about the filming process of their favourite series, hear from producers, directors and the stars themselves, and watch previews and premieres of the next up-and-coming shows.

Special VIP passes offering privileged access to the opening and closing ceremonies, award shows and screenings had been available for €49, but have been a victim of their own success and are already sold out.

However, registration for free passes is still open. To sign up for a free pass, click here.
