In less than a week, the Monaco pour l’Emploi forum will return for its third edition, introducing a dedicated luxury sector, an expanded presence from the yachting industry, and innovative recruitment solutions for both job seekers and employers. The government has also announced that thousands of accommodation options will be made available for seasonal workers, addressing a key challenge in the Principality’s job market.
Monaco’s Minister for Social Affairs and Health Christophe Robino hosted a press conference on 18th February to outline the key additions to this year’s Monaco pour l’Emploi forum, which will take place on 24th February at the Grimaldi Forum. Now in its third edition, the event continues to grow, serving as both a dynamic recruitment platform and a showcase of the Principality’s thriving job market. This year sees the introduction of a dedicated luxury sector, improved accommodation solutions for seasonal workers, and enhanced digital tools to streamline recruitment.
Tackling the accommodation challenge for seasonal workers
A long-standing barrier to employment in Monaco, particularly in hospitality and tourism, is the difficulty of securing housing. Robino described the government’s latest initiative as a significant step forward: a partnership with CROUS, the French student housing organisation, to provide seasonal workers with access to university accommodation between April and September.
“There is no fixed number of apartments available,” he explained, “but we estimate that thousands of units, primarily in Nice and its surrounding areas, will be accessible.” This solution, he noted, is a response to one of the most pressing issues faced by businesses and workers alike. By offering affordable lodging options, the government aims to attract more seasonal workers to Monaco, ensuring that key sectors such as hospitality and retail remain fully staffed during peak seasons.
Luxury sector joins the forum for the first time
One of the most notable additions to the 2025 forum is a dedicated space for the luxury industry. Robino highlighted the increasing demand for skilled professionals in this sector, which has traditionally been underrepresented at the event. This year, several prestigious brands—including Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, and APM Monaco—will be present, looking to recruit across a range of roles.
“These companies are seeking talent at all levels, from retail management to administrative support and luxury sales,” Robino revealed, noting that customer service in the luxury sector is highly specialised, requiring an approach inspired by high-end hospitality and personalised client relations.

For job seekers, this expansion means access to new career opportunities within some of the world’s most renowned brands. According to Robino, Monaco’s status as a hub for luxury commerce makes it an attractive place for those looking to enter or advance in the industry.
A dynamic platform showcasing the advantages of working in Monaco
Beyond facilitating job placements, Monaco pour l’Emploi is designed to highlight the many advantages of working in the Principality. Robino described the forum as more than just a hiring event—it is an opportunity to showcase Monaco as a premier employment destination. With its strong economy, career growth prospects, and labour protections, Monaco continues to attract top talent from across the region.
The event also serves as a vital meeting point for businesses, government services, and job seekers. Employers will not only present vacancies but also provide insights into career development, interview techniques, and industry trends. Robino stressed that the forum is structured to create meaningful exchanges, offering candidates a deeper understanding of potential career paths in Monaco.
To enhance this interactive experience, several new features have been introduced. A digital job board managed by the DICN will allow for real-time job postings, while an interactive QR code map will help attendees navigate the event. Meanwhile, a dedicated space for confidential one-on-one interviews will enable more in-depth discussions between recruiters and job seekers.
With nearly 4,000 square metres of exhibition space and a record number of over 3,800 pre-registered visitors, this year’s Monaco pour l’Emploi is set to be the most comprehensive yet.
