Monaco gets crucial win. Fabregas scores

By Staff Writer - February 3, 2019

Fabregas scored his first goal for Monaco at the weekend, netting the winner in a 2-1 win over Toulouse.

The win puts Monaco on the threshold of safety, but the three teams above Monaco still have one more game to play overall.

The win was the first home win for AS Monaco this season.

Russia midfielder Aleksandr Golovin put Monaco ahead in the 16th minute, only for towering Toulouse center half Christopher Jullien to equalize four minutes later.

Jardim was about to make a substitution when Fabregas scored. The Portuguese manager punched the air in celebration.

This week, Tielemans moved to English Premiership side Leicester City on loan.
