From the Église du Sacré-Cœur to the Notre-Dame-Immaculée de Monaco Cathedral, venues across the Principality are preparing to welcome back the annual Monaco International Organ Festival, which kicks off on 12th October. Here are some of the highlights of the festival.
The 19th Monaco International Organ Festival, organised by the Direction des Affaires Culturelles, will take place between 12th and 19th October in some of the Principality’s most important religious and heritage sites.
The festival offers an opportunity to explore the heritage and history of this incredible instrument in Monaco, as well as to discover fresh, new talent.
Indeed, the 2024 Monaco International Organ Festival will open on 12th October with a recital by Kali Malone, a rising composer and organist, at the Église du Sacré-Cœur. Malone is known for her innovative approach to organ music and is expected to present a programme that reflects her unique style.
On 18th October, the French Army Choir, a special formation of the Republican Guard, will perform under the direction of Emilie Fleury at Monaco Cathedral on the Rock. The choir will be accompanied by organist Johann Vexo.

The festival will conclude on 19th October with a trumpet and organ recital at Saint-Charles Church. Trumpeter Romain Leleu and organist Ghislain Leroy will collaborate in this performance, providing a distinct combination of brass and organ sounds.
The concerts will begin at 8.30pm each night, and entry is free but subject to availability. The full programme and practical information are available here.
