Monaco launches hands-on AI workshops for businesses with new Digital LabImpact programme

The Princely Government has launched a new format of practical digital workshops for Monaco businesses, building on the success of its existing Digital FlashUP awareness sessions.

The Digital LabImpact workshops are run by the Délégation Interministérielle chargée de la Transition Numérique (DITN) through the Extended Monaco Entreprises programme and are designed to take participants beyond introductory awareness into practical application — helping businesses identify, test and integrate generative AI and other digital tools into their day-to-day operations.

Where the Digital FlashUP sessions offer 45-minute accessible overviews of major digital issues for managers and employees, the new LabImpact format takes a small-group workshop approach, giving participants space to work through the implications of those topics for their own professional activity. Each session combines interactive exchanges with local experts, hands-on exploration of generative AI, and collective reflection on digital practices within businesses.

The first workshops launched in late April and have already attracted nearly 100 participants from across different sectors of the Principality’s economy, with more than 40 having already attended a session. Five workshops have been completed to date, with ten more scheduled before the end of the year.

The programme will run alongside the Digital FlashUP calendar throughout 2025, with the two formats designed to complement each other — awareness sessions feeding into deeper practical work.

Further information on upcoming sessions is available through the Extended Monaco Entreprises programme.
