Monaco will be at European Athletics Championships

Monaco will be represented by one athlete at the 2018 European Athletics Championships in Berlin, taking place from August 6-12.

The Monegasque Athletics Federation will be sending teenager Marie-Charlotte Gastaud, who will compete in the women’s 100 metres. The 18 year-old has a personal best time of 13.4 seconds for the event, which she set on April 29, 2017, in Savona, Italy.

Gastaud came in seventh place in heat five of the women’s 100 metres at the World Junior Championships on July 11, 2018.
