Monaco’s basketball players take first place in French league

Monaco’s outstanding basketball team has finished first in the French league after a very successful season. The Roca Boys also reached the final four in the European Cup, where they lost in the finals to Athens, 100 to 94.

Monaco had 25 wins for nine losses in the French league, with a 51-percent success rate for shots at the basket.

Regarding the defensive aspect in the league, the Monegasques recovered 371 offensive rebounds and 862 defensive. They suffered 818 faults and committed 745 faults. At the same time, they inflicted 91 against and suffered 87.

Elmedin Kikanovic, with 302 points scored, was the best scorer for the Roca Team in the European Cup. Robinson was the best Monegasque scorer in Jeep Elite with 509 points, while Georgi Joseph was the best rebounder of the Roca Team in Jeep Elite, with 144 rebounds.

Altogether it was another great season for the Monaco players.
