A representative from Monaco’s digital security agency has been trained in the latest digital forensics and security research at a dedicated conference in Norway.
The Monegasque Agency for Digital Security was represented by Pierre Morlon, Chargé de Mission, at the Digital Forensics Research Workshop (DFRWS) annual European conference, which took place from 24th to 26th April in Oslo at the National Criminal Investigation Service (Kripos).
DFRWS is a non-profit organisation dedicated to bringing together all people with a legitimate interest in digital forensics to meet new challenges in this area. The DFRWS organises digital conferences dedicated to forensics, challenges and international collaboration to guide research and development.
This event included more than 24 hours of in-depth technical sessions covering the latest digital forensics and digital security research, demonstrations of new technical tools and hands-on workshops.
The DRFWS also organises a digital investigation challenge of based on a fictional scenario. Pierre Morlon finished second out of 17 participants, confirming the high level of the staff at the AMSN.
