Happy Monday all! Hope you guys had an amazing weekend and celebrated National Day in style! I have to say, this weekend I wasn’t blown away by the street style so much as usual thus it’s another week of the usual suspects. Angela Orlova slayed the game in daytime diamonds. Mrs Cat was out and about coordinating with her dogs. Officially though Princess Charlene was the winner of the fashion Olympics this weekend in her Akris ensemble.
However, the outerwear is starting to place front and centre on the streets of the Principality. The furs are being pulled out of their bags and the battle of Who’s the Hairiest One of All is beginning. Guess who’s the mirror on the wall? Me.
@orlovaangela If I could fill the weekend report with only the fashionable escapades of jewellery designer Angela Orlova I would, but alas I must play fair and give everybody a chance at a day of online fame. Angela gave us fall vibes to the max in 50 shades of brown. Let’s start from the head down, shall we?
Donning a tan Loro Piana hat she looked ready to stroll the sunlit path of the starlight pavilions (check out her photoshoot with Tom Claeren). An unexpected chill? No worries, a casual Gucci mink fur should sort her out. Looking positively gangster in a white YSL smoking suit her Orlov Jewelry Serpentes Collection necklace gleamed like ice crystals on a sunny winter day. Christian Louboutin heels in a shade of truffle and an ostrich Hermès Kelly bag gave a bit of wild flavour to her look, although I doubt she’ll be traipsing through the woodlands dressed like this. Bling bling Angela, you shine bright like a diamond.
@cat98000 Oh my dear Cat. Is there anyone more passionate about fashion than she who coordinates her dogs’ leashes to her outfit? I THINK NOT! You can’t hide behind those Dior So Real sunglasses! I KNOW IT’S YOU! In perhaps a nod to the National Day festivities Cat’s colour of choice for this outfit was red. She looked positively cosy tucked into her turtleneck sweater underneath a fur gilet with her ever present Hermès Birkin slung over her arm, currently guest starring in red. She took her furry four-legged brood out for a walk, casual in her blue jeans and oxblood red flats. Riddle me this dear Cat … who decides the look of the day … you or the dogs? xoxo.
@mendozaftz If I had to wear one outfit for the rest of my life, hands down it would look a little something like this. Winter is coming and Samy is clearly ready. No chair? No problem! A Louis Vuitton trunk will do. Looking extremely lush and plush in a gray fur coat this baller popped champagne in an Adidas Originals tracksuit and Dsquared hat. Don’t like his look? Well he has a clear message for you!
@girba Perhaps this Russian doll is asking Santa Claus which list she’s on this year. We think nice, like her fashion sense. Tis the season for tartan, and we are really digging this look. Channelling a chic schoolgirl with her Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2016 monogram canvas drawstring bag, Veronika looked ready for whatever the weather threw at her in a white fur lined motorcycle jacket … well almost … those sneakers will come in handy when running indoor while Jack Frost comes nipping at your toes.
@tocestyle My, my, two features in a row for the Freeze The Breeze designer. There’s just something about the way she wears her outfits with confidence that has me giving a little digital nod of approval. This week an orange turtleneck sweater, mom jeans and brown boots are elevated by a silver quilted kimono style jacket. A perfect look for a Sunday stroll around the Principality, it’s a comfortable and casual and still cute look. I can’t say the same for the Carpisa bag. My dear let’s leave that at home next time.
Princess Charlene of Monaco has shared what life is like raising her strong-willed twins in a new interview published recently. The South African born Princess also revealed that her husband, Prince Albert, is a “fun” father who personally takes his kids to school every day.
Monaco’s National Day, celebrated on Tuesday, was filled with all wonderful pomp and ceremony the people of the Principality have come to expect, but this year, the crowds had even more. Everyone was positively enchanted by the nearly five-year old princely twins, who adorably made the day. National Day, held every 19th November, is about […]
A rare survivor of the nuclear blast that effectively ended World War II in the Pacific has spoken to a group of mesmerised students and staff members at Lycée Albert I. Organised by the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), The high school’s history and geography class were told the incredible and sad true […]
October has come to be known as ‘Pink October’ and many Monegasque organisations, as well as the government, are supporting the cause. Roughly two million women were diagnosed with breast cancer last year worldwide and of those an estimated 627,000 will die from the disease. That comes out to 15% of all cancer deaths for […]
