Monaco’s International Cat Show will return to the Fontvieille Marquee on 3rd and 4th October, bringing together nearly 200 pedigree cats representing 27 breeds.

Around 90 breeders from across Europe are expected to participate in the ninth edition of the Exposition Féline Internationale de Monaco, which will be open to the public from 10am to 6pm on both days.

The event is organised by Monaco-based association De Gati de Munegu under the High Patronage of Princess Caroline of Hanover.

Visitors will be able to see breeds including Maine Coons, Persians, Bengals, Ragdolls and Sphynx cats, with 10 international judges assessing the competitors according to LOOF and TICA standards.

The programme will place an emphasis on responsible ownership and animal welfare. Organisers have introduced a strict ban on kitten sales during the show and will work with animal-protection groups to promote responsible adoption.

The show has also been recognised with a new Monaco postage stamp designed by Florence Gendre. Released on 5th September, the €2.25 stamp features a Persian cat and commemorates the 2026 edition of the event.

Admission costs €10 for visitors aged over 13 and €5 for children aged between six and 13. Entry is free for children under six.
