IM2S is Monaco’s orthopaedic medical-surgical clinic, which brings together specialists in all types of osteoarticular pathology.

In order to support the increasing number of consultations, IM2S, well known for its expertise in sports medicine, recently undertook a redevelopment of its Surgical Consultation facilities. “The surgical outpatient area has been renovated in four phases to minimise disruption to patient reception and the work of IM2S staff,” said Gérard Luccio, General Manager.

The layout of the space has been designed to offer patients more comfort, as well as more serenity for IM2S employees. Work, which begun in June was completed in August 2017, consisted of arranging all the medical offices on the south facade and creating seven individualised medical secretariats.

New contiguous waiting spaces have been installed. “From the secretariats to the implantation of the medical offices, everything has been thought out to guarantee the best conditions of reception for the patients, but also to allow a fluidity in the organisation of their care,” said Céline Caron, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors.

So far, the first set of feedback had been extremely positive, both from the patients and the staff of the clinic.

As part of the strengthening of its business, IM2S welcomed three new permanent practitioners between October 2016 and February 2017. By expanding its range of care, the institute is responding to the growing need to care for its patients.
