Prince Albert II officially opened the seventh edition of the Grimaldi Historic Sites Meetings on Saturday 13 June, joined by Princess Charlene, Hereditary Prince Jacques, and Princess Gabriella at Place du Palais.
The event welcomed representatives from both French and Italian communities with links to the Grimaldi family heritage, including the Department and City of Mayenne, Fontaine-Française, Roumoules, Ascros, Marie, and Italian municipalities of Pianezza and Livorno Ferraris.
In his opening speech, Prince Albert II emphasized the importance of the meetings in preserving the shared history, while expressing his desire to strengthen friendship, cooperation, and exchanges between Monaco and the territories connected through the Grimaldi heritage.
After the ceremony, the Princely Family toured the village set up at Place du Palais, meeting elected officials, producers, and visitors gathered to celebrate this shared heritage.
