Alert, massage, defibrillate. This is the theme of the day of awareness organized Thursday, January 17 by students Nursing, promotion Tony Varo.
The students, with the help of the first aid section of the Monegasque Red Cross and the Monaco Fire Brigade, have been distributed in strategic locations in the Principality (Market Square, Fontvieille Shopping Center and the Railway Station), showed the gestures that save the general public and in particular the use of the automatic defibrillator.
Two mannequins and semi-automatic defibrillators to test life-size cardiac massage and learn to have good reflexes, under the watchful eye of Dr. Jean-Paul Rinaldi, cardiologist at the CHPG and president of the Monegasque Association of Fight Against Sudden death.
After conducting a survey on November 30 with the population, IFSI students have chosen to implement their public health action plan throughout the day, because simple gestures and reflexes can sometimes save a life.
