SBM teases new quintessentially English restaurant for Mareterra district

Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer CEO, Stéphane Valéri, has revealed exciting plans for the soon-to-be-completed Mareterra neighbourhood in Monaco, hinting at the gourmet experience that awaits residents and visitors in this new district.

It was revealed in an interview with Radio Monaco that Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer (SBM), Monaco’s most prolific hospitality group, will soon be opening a new restaurant in the Mareterra neighbourhood.

According to comments made by SBM CEO Stéphane Valéri, the restaurant will be “the largest” in the district and will be “located on the central square”.

Valéri added, “It will have a chic and relaxed English ambience where you can eat all day, from breakfast until late at night.”

The restaurant will likely be called Marlow, a name with links to natural sources of water, though the inspiration for the name is yet to be confirmed by SBM.

The Mareterra project, the biggest development in Monaco for decades, began in 2015 and is due for completion by the end of November.
