Sheba Medical Centre to celebrate 75th anniversary with gala at the Hôtel Hermitage

The Sheba Medical Centre charity gala event in early August will celebrate 75 years of caregiving to all in need, including some of the Middle East’s most vulnerable people.

The Sheba Medical Centre in the Israeli city of Ramat Gan is the biggest full scale medical facility in the Middle East. More than two million patients come through its doors each year. Many are refugees who are both homeless and penniless, having fled from war-torn areas or hotspots such as Syria, Palestine and Iraq.

The hospital has 10,000 health care professionals on staff to treat the sick and injured, and even takes the show on the road when necessary, organising aid missions to places where medical assistance is disrupted or non-existent.

75TH ANNIVERSARY

Sheba is marking its 75th year in operation this year, and a charity gala has been organised in Monaco to help raise funds for this worthy organisation’s children’s wing, the Edmond and Lily Safra Children’s Hospital.

Under the patronage of Prince Albert II, the Hôtel Hermitage will be hosting the event, which will feature a cocktail reception, dinner and charity auction as well as live entertainment by powerhouse diva Riki Ben Ari, who participated in the 2023 Eurovision competition.

The gala is being held on 3rd August, with doors opening at 7.30pm. For more information or to get tickets, please click here
