Glamourous businesswoman and socialite Tatiana Casiraghi, wife of Andrea Casiraghi, the elder son of Princess Caroline of Hanover, has unveiled a captivating new campaign for her ethical and artisanal fashion brand, Muzungu Sisters. This time, she is joined by a special collaborator, her young daughter, who is learning from her mother the importance of sustainability, traditional values, and beautiful fashion.
Muzungu Sisters, co-founded in 2011 by Casiraghi and Dana Alikhani, derives its name from the Swahili word for “traveller” or “wanderer.” The brand seeks to connect local artisans with a broader global audience and commissions handcrafted goods from remote communities, helping to bring their unique craftsmanship into the spotlight.
Casiraghi is an American-born Colombian-Monegasque socialite, heiress, and fashion designer who has long been dedicated to sustainable fashion. Born into the wealthy Santo Domingo family of Colombia, the 41-year-old is married to Andrea Casiraghi, the eldest son of Caroline, Princess of Hanover, herself the elder sister of Prince Albert II of Monaco. Casiraghi generally shies away from the camera but has made a striking exception with this latest campaign, where she shares the stage with her soon-to-be 10-year-old daughter, India.
The mother-daughter pair radiates warmth and elegance in the campaign shots. Their presence brings a personal touch to the collection, which draws inspiration from the beauty of Bengal tigers. The offbeat, original aesthetic blends timeless style and cool modern vibes, creating a heady mix.
This is not the first time that mother and daughter have posed together for a campaign. In 2022, they were photographed together for the launch of the Muzungu Sisters’ Kids collection. This latest campaign reinforces their family connection while championing the sustainable and artisanal values that Casiraghi holds dear.
Through her brand and its focus on sustainability, Casiraghi hopes to inspire younger generations to recognise the importance of ethical fashion. By incorporating sustainable materials and preserving artisanal craftsmanship, the brand emphasises that fashion is not just about aesthetics—it’s also about responsibility.
