For two months this winter, the heartwarming mountain food of the Swiss Alps will be coming to Monaco via the Tradiswiss pop-up that will be hosted by the Novotel Hotel.
From 22nd December to 28th February, the fun Swiss-themed eatery of Tradiswiss, which has proven itself so popular in Nice, Porto and Paris, will be calling the Novotel Hotel in Monaco home.
Styled to give guests the impression of dining in a cosy alpine chalet, with charming decorative touches that will transport you straight to Saint Moritz, Tradiswiss will be serving up all the rich and indulgent dishes traditionally enjoyed in Switzerland – and elsewhere in the Alps – during the cold and snowy winter months.
The Swiss are extremely proud of their chesses and so is Tradiswiss. Only those made “according to an ancestral tradition with local milk and unique know-how” are served. The fondue is a blend of Swiss Gruyère and Vacherin Fribourgeois, and the raclette du Valais is prepared according to strict traditional rules. Served alongside these iconic cheeses will be charcuterie platters featuring wafer-thin slices of melt-in-the-mouth meats.
New for this year is a burger par excellence as well as a Vacherin Mont d’Or.
For a sweet finish, Tradiswiss will be offering up blueberry tarts, Alpine nougatine with Génépi and Chartreuse sorbet, and the perennial family favourite of a Swiss chocolate fondue, all enhanced by a nice selection of wines from the region.
Tradiswiss will be open daily from 7pm to 10.30pm. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling +377 99 99 83 20 or clicking here.
