The first year students of the Institute of Nursing Training (IFSI) started their studies this Wednesday in the presence of Didier Gamerdinger, Minister of Health and Social Affairs, Patrick Bini, Director of the Hospital Princess Grace, and Monique Le Du, Director of IFSI.

At the end of the welcome speech given by the Director of IFSI, the Minister warmly congratulated the students on being among the winners of the competition that this year saw 9,060 candidates in the PACA region for 2,963 places, 30 at the CHPG IFSI.

Among the 30 admitted are a student of Monegasque nationality and two other residents of the Principality.

Didier Gamerdinger emphasised the priority given to IFSI training by the Prince’s Government. He also stressed the importance of technical skills but above all of the altruistic attitude required for the profession of nurse.

Additionally, he expressed his wish to see the students flourish as nurses and caregivers who work daily to serve others.
