Not far from WAM, Casa del Caffè is a Monaco staple known for its affordable high-quality Italian food. Also found on Avenue de la Costa, this long-standing local favourite has served excellent pasta, fresh paninis and artisanal gelato for over a decade. With a cosy atmosphere and outdoor terrace, it’s a great pick for those in search of authentic Italian flavours.

If you’re in the mood for a good panini, Panino Club should be at the top of your list. This spot on Boulevard des Moulins serves artisanal paninis with high-quality Italian ingredients, from classic cured meats to creative pairings like bresaola and cucumber mousse. Prices range from €10 to €16, and the menu also includes breakfast and aperitivos in a warm wood-panelled setting. It is open Monday to Saturday from 7am to 9pm.

On Boulevard d’Italie, Espresso Napoletano is a popular Italian café known for its coffee, breakfasts and casual dining. With a focus on traditional Neapolitan flavours, it offers a welcoming atmosphere and efficient service. Monaco Life recommends the avocado toast with salmon. With three generously sized pieces for just €10, it’s easily one of the best-value options in town.

On the other side of Monaco in La Condamine, Monaco Life recommends trying Woo, a café specialising in poke bowls, fresh salads and toasts. With plenty of customisation options, it’s easy to get a well-balanced meal for under €25. The menu also features fresh juices and gluten-free choices, making it a top pick for those seeking a healthy and affordable bite.

Finding good sushi at a reasonable price in Monaco isn’t always easy, but Capo Sushi delivers. Located at the exit/entrance to the train station on Allée Lazare Sauvaigo, this spot offers a mix of Japanese and Mediterranean flavours in an intimate setting. It’s a popular spot for affordable sushi in Monaco, with California rolls (eight pieces) priced between €10 and €17 depending on the selection. The cheapest sushi set (12 pieces) is €20. It’s a solid option for those looking for quality sushi without overspending.

Near the other entrance/exit to the train station, up on Boulevard Princesse Charlotte, Cooks is a casual Italian eatery known for its fresh pasta, wood-fired pizzas and generous portions. Open daily, it serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with affordable options that make it a popular choice for both locals and visitors.
