As part of the Climate Energy Plan, Marie-Pierre Gramaglia, Government Advisor – Minister of Equipment, Environment and Urban Planning, set out last year to obtain accreditation from the Airport Council International Europe (www.aci-europe.org/).

Also, the Directorate of Civil Aviation, in collaboration with the Directorate of the Environment, set up a program in 2017 to achieve carbon neutrality.

Through this approach, the Director of Civil Aviation, also in charge of managing the Heliport, has committed to significantly reduce the GHG emitted by the structure.

The program currently has 189 accredited airports around the world. The Heliport of Monaco has recently received its carbon accreditation: it is the first heliport to get it.

For the record, the Climate Energy Plan, implemented since 2014, is an action plan mobilizing all the services of the Prince’s Government to reduce GHG emissions, improve energy efficiency and develop renewable energies.

A special moment took place in the exclusive setting of 39 Club Monte Carlo during the Monaco Yacht Show: the ‘Yacht Investor Days’ event hosted by Investor Media.

As always, many partners contributed, including Silver Arrows Marine, Kryptos-X, Marinepool and also the non-profit organisation SheCanHeCan.
